Oku utara is one of the core traditions of Igbere people in Igboland. Oku utara is a special feast during which all the Igbere native cuisines are served. There are eating competitions during this ocassion and and a free for all time to crack jokes. Oku utara is full of fun in the sense that, both the kids, youths and elder statespeople interact socially as they make fun of each other.
This particular special event was hosted by the the Anyaogu Elekwachi family during the 2019 IDA Convention.
